I’m going to go through 4th degree exemplification later in the spring, and as a younger man, I was asked to join the honor guard. I asked a few brother knights which of the two suppliers they bought their regalia from. The problem is that they’ve all been doing this for 20+ years and don’t remember where they got their regalia. The one’s that do bought so long ago that I doubt the quality would be the same.

Being a young professional academic I don’t make a lot of money, and regalia kits are costly. My question is for those of you who have purchased in the last decade or so:

Who do you feel makes the higher quality 4th degree regalia, Lynch & Kelly or The English Company?

Unfortunately, I’m not a Knight and can’t help with your question. But my Grandfather was and I wanted to congratulate you. The Knights are a great organization.

Congratulations! Welcome!

I cannot really compare, because I have experience with only the one, but :twocents: my assembly swears by Lynch & Kelly, with which regalia I have been quite satisfied for the last ~5 years.

I will also note that I’d previously purchased the sword separately on eBay, which saved something ~$30,

I think it is a noble thing to give new use to a fallen brother’s sword :knight2:. But I would feel funny wearing a dead guy’s hat 😛 :tiphat:
