I’m looking for a free online commentary of the scriptures including the deuterocanonical books.

I would really like something that includes the early church fathers.

If such a catholic commentary doesn’t exist, are there any protestant commentaries online that you would recommend?

I have gone from using commentaries that are on the market to searching the Church Fathers and the Doctors of the Church. There are some great free online resources that will hook you right into finding the best commentary to the Bible. Here are some of my top picks!

salvationhistory.com/library/scripture/churchandbible/medieval/thomismTexts.cfm

salvationhistory.com/library/scripture/churchandbible/fathers/texts.cfm

globalserve.net/~bumblebee/ecclesia/summa/

These 3 sites will allow you to see what the greatest Catholic minds have said about any Bible verse you want to know about!!

Also, the Cathechism of the Catholic Church has a Scripture index that will allow you to look up the place where the Cathecism has quoted Scripture. That is always a reliable place to look!!

thanks to All.

Can’t say you don’t get your money’s worth here!
