Hi,
So we all know the true meaning of Christmas but just for fun and a bit of nostalgia, what was the best present you ever had? Ever…

I received a Crystal Barbie and canopy bed set for her. I’ll always remember that. I also received a Pound Puppy that year. Best Christmas ever, as far as the “stuff” goes. 🙂
 
I think the best present I got was a pair of boxing gloves when I was eight.

I used to fight terrific matches …with myself.

Come to think of it, I still do…🤔
 
A Davy Crockett Coon Skin Hat, which was all the rage back in the day.

You’ve reminded me, I was finally given a white handled toy Winchester rifle.
I went out in thin snow hunting buffalo one Boxing Day, I wasn’t alone either, my faithful friend Pete, who was invisible but very good at cooking camp fire beans, was with me. That was a tiring afternoon as I recall. Ran out of caps too.
 
A single pump BB gun and folding pocket knife when I was 6. I was a big boy then.
 
I received a Pollyanna doll when I was 8 or
9. I loved the Disney movie with Hayley Mills.
 
Circa 1982 I received a pair of Sasson designer jeans. 👖 and a pink blouse 👚.
 
When I was a kid I got a doll house.
I still have it.

Hi Lee, have a Happy and Blessed Christmas.

Still Christmas Eve here. Will go to mass in a couple of hours. Christmas vigil mass starts at 10:00 PM in my parish.

Guess what, snow fell. I see white everywhere. The snow reflects the light and it seems to glow. Very magical and so peaceful.

I’m going to have a white Christmas.
