Best Vatican II Translation?

[novusCatholic]

I’d like to begin reading through the Vatican II documents and want to purchase a hard copy.

Could someone please suggest an accurate translation of the documents, as they were written? I don’t mind the addition of commentary, but want to avoid editorializing of the actual texts.

I’ve heard that one must be careful with the different translations. For example, inclusive vs non-inclusive language?

Specific titles would be appreciated it you have them. I’ve been browsing Amazon.

Thanks!

I own this copy, and it is complete with additional Commentaries by the Council Fathers, and all the official footnotes that the Fathers used in drafting the documents. Whenever I compared any document in my book with what is posted at the Vatican, they are always exactly the same.

You might be amused at the price of $34, whereas on my front cover, it says $1.25.

That’s a good question. I’ve encountered claims that at least one older translation of Vatican II is bad.
