Some of the best art, IMHO, comes directly from the Bible. Currently there is an exhibit which features the Reliquary Cross of Justin II from the Vatican in Texas at the Kimbell.
The exhibit is called Picturing the Bible. Has anyone seen it? I’m hoping to next month. This is art to me not the modern stuff.
