Bible Downloads

I’m sure this has been asked before, but I was wondering.

Does anyone know of any free online Bible downloads that would include the RSV-CE, the NAB, the Douay Bible, and the Vulgate? I have a Vulgate on my computer, and I have a copy or two of the NAB, but I would like to use the other versions as well and I cannot find them cheaply and would like to use them on the computer.

The parallel Greek New Testament is a handy resource:

Unfortunately, this only has the New Testament, and not the Old.

e-Sword e-sword.net/ has all of those but the RSV. But it has about 25 English translations, as well as the Latin Vulgate and many various Greek translations and all kinds of foreign languages as well.

E-Sword is great. It has the Vulgate & Douay available free. Very, very useful bit of software.

I don’t think you’ll find any version of the RSV as a free download. The copyright holders seem to want a firm grasp of their legal rights. If you do find a legal download for free please let us know. I would like one!

I don’t know if that’s edition 1 or edition 2. And the chapters can only be accessed one at a time rather than downloading the lot in one go. But it is complete.

If you go to BIBLE GATEWAY on the net you will get what you are after.

I may be wrong, but I don’t think biblegateway.net has any Catholic Bible versions - the Deuterocanonical books are not there.
