I’m looking for a translation of the Bible by Nácar and Colunga (done in 1944).

It’s a beautiful, literary translation–the first one made from the original languages into Spanish.

I can’t find it for purchase anywhere online! According to what I know, it’s still popular enough that it should be available.

Can anyone help?

find my thread on “need Spanish bible on-line or CD” about a week ago on scripture forum. Daniel has given oodles of links to good sources. check it out. I can’t post the link because my mouse doesn’t work right.

Hi,

I too happen to think that the Nacar-Colunga translation is the best available in Spanish. It is published by the Biblioteca de Autores Cristianos in Spain. I got my copy back in 1994 in a Pauline Books and Media store. I don’t know if this version is still in print.
