At the Transfiguration of Jesus (Matt 17:1–8; Mark 9:2 –8, Luke 9:28–36) How many were present???

I would say at least 8.

Peter
James
John
Jesus
Elijah
Moses
Father (voice)
Holy Spirit (cloud)

And probably a few angels as well. 🙂

Yes, fisherman_carl, I was thinking along the lines of 9.
Jesus and his three apostles 4
Moses and Elijah +2
THE TRINITY (which cannot be separated) +3

4+2+3 = 9

**You have to count Jesus twice (True God and True Man) Hahahaha! I know, I know! He cannot be separated, either. But I love thinking about it…

Thanks for playing.

Kind of a trick question - but a fun one to ponder !
Made me rethink the entire mountain scene -

Do you think - Jesus used Moses and Elijah - as intercession people - for his prayers ?

And how long did they chat for - and about what -

I’ve always heard that Moses stood for the “Law” and Elijah stood for the “prophets”…

And how long did they chat for - and about what -
Luke 9:30-31 And behold, two men talked with him, Moses and Eli′jah, who appeared in glory and spoke of his departure, which he was to accomplish at Jerusalem.

Riddle (note: contains some speculation):
Mark names them both but Paul only one
