Bible Study Software

For me, it’s not worth it. I would love to find a Bible study software that would tie all the neat things together with the press of a computer key. So far, I haven’t found any software that I wouldn’t completely drown in that would give me what I want.

I think a better question for you to ask is whether or not you would have use for all or even half the features it offers. Are you going to use $100 worth of it or $472 worth of it?
 
The features that I really like are
  1. the cross referencing between different sources (dictionaries, bibles, commentaries etc.)
  2. The tools that show the relations between the people in the Bible…i.e who was married to who etc… ( I am really REALLY bad with names so sometimes I might be reading 1King and then 1 Chronicles and not be aware the books were making reference to the same person).
  3. Also thes system has all the ECFs writings…38volumes worth! (I am particular fond of the ECFs)
Things that I would have liked to see included
  1. CCC
  2. Catholic encyclopaedia
If you know of any software(s) with this …AND with a good search engine (i.e. not just text) then let me know. Well I already now for point 5 I would go to newadvent but appart from that ???

BTW Scott Hahn’s website does not have search engines so there might be a lot of documents but it would be so hard to find what you are after

I like one and three…it would be good if they combined them so get the best of both
