Does anybody know of any good tools for scripture study that are available online - not just general about the Bible, but on particular books?
Thanks.

Such as commentaries, you mean?

If you do a search for “Bible search”, you should find some of the many online Bible sites, several of which have commentaries for the texts that they use. You can also find linguistic tools, Greek or Hebrew texts, Greek or Hebrew lessons, essays…

Seek and you shall find.

The 1859 edition of the Haydock Catholic Bible commentary on the New Testament is available online here.

The Blue Letter Bible is great. It is the King James translation. The tools are GREAT.

They have eight different translations. They have the Greek and the Hebrew. They have much, much more. Oh, the have the Vulgate, too.

You must believe it to see it.

Just Me,

If you want a different perspective, somebody posted a link to Rashi’s Commentaries on the Jewish Scriptures:

Rashi is The Commentator as far as Jews are concerned. I’ve read some of his commentary on Deuteronomy and it is certainly not what you read in most other commentaries.

I agree 110%, the search engines are awesome. Enter what you remember of a verse and you’ll get the answer. Don’t sweat it out there, you Catholics who hate the KJV. Simply get the Chapter and Verse and refer to your own version of the Bible. Also the Hebrew Concordence is supurb. If you hadn’t mentioned the BLB, I wouldn’t have joined in this thread. I was keeping it a secret. Dan
