This is a pingback to one of my earlier threads: forums.catholic-questions.org/showthread.php?t=982422

Long story short, I have decided against the expensive Swarvokski crystal rosary in favor of a plainer St. Germaine rosary with tiger’s eye beads. You can’t take fancy things with you and a shoutout to GLam8833: I believe I have passed the test you made me aware of.

This is a link to the life of St. Germaine: olrl.org/lives/germaine.shtml

This particular rosary is engravable on the back of the centerpiece medal. I am looking for a short phrase or Bible verse pertaining to her struggles which will give me strength as I have CP and she is my patron. No more than thirty characters total, including spaces.

An example for the Holy Spirit:

“Trust in
the Spirit
Jn (John) 16:13”

Please include the full name of the verse book along with a common abbreviation. I will be getting this for myself for either Christmas or Easter as I complete RCIA.

Okay Ariana, I pray that you will be
encouraged thru the rosary beads to
keep your mind on HEAVENLY things,
where Christ is seated at the Right
Hand of God, not on earthly, perishable
things!!

Indeed. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit; as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Also I just remembered: St. Germaine’s rosaries were only ever made of hand-knotted twine. Food for thought. 👍

I think this one is really good and it sums up her life:

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

Or, put briefly:

“By His
Grace
2 Co 12:9”

How about:
“Thy Kingdom
come” Matt. 6:10
That one’s good too. I’m trying to gather as many short inspirational phrases as possible that can really reflect her life and something for me to strive towards.
