Hi guys,
Forgive me if this in the wrong topic, but I have a quick bible related question.
Have any of you seen the movie Prince of Egypt? If so can anyone point out 5 differences between the movie and the Catholic bible?

It’s for an Old Testament studies project.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I’m gonna have to defect to Michelle Arnold’s sticky in the Ask an Apologist Forum:
It is not the purpose of this forum to do students’ homework for them. Your teacher gave you this assignment in order to challenge you to think more deeply about the lives of Peter and Paul. While you could copy down whatever answers others might give you, those answers would remain theirs, not yours. Your teacher wants your answers; not someone else’s.

I’ll help you out. It’s been a while since I saw the film, (only once when it first came out) but if I remember correctly in the movie Pharaoh didn’t die. That’s all I can do for you, sorry.

One major one is that in the movie it does not show Aaron speaking for Moses as we know he does in the Exodus account

In the movie, Moses killed the man accidentally.

In the bible, Moses chose to kill the man.

I haven’t seen Prince of Egypt but I have seen what Disney did to Bambi, Mary Poppins, Pinocchio, Winnie the Pooh, Jungle Book and other children’s classics, so I wouldn’t use it as the basis for a bible study.
