Bibles which use the name of God

I’m looking for Bibles which use the name of God(Yahweh,Jehovah) like the New Jerusalem Bible and the American Standard Version. I don’t like and I don’t know why most of the modern Bibles don’t use the true name of God. Why the name of God has disappeared from most of our modern Bibles?

“Jehovah” is an artificial form of the Name of God - it’s not a genuine reading of any Divine Name or title.​

The form in the OT of the JB & NJB, is probably, but not certainly, correct. ##

If the name Jehovah is artificial, how come I could find it in several translations of the Bible throughout the centuries? Apparently Yahweh is a better way to translate the name of God from Hebrew. Anyway my question hasn’t been aswered.
Why is so difficult to find the personal name of God in the modern translations of the Bible?

There is no problem when a translation uses the personal name of God, however the majority follow an ancient translation convention, wherein the name of God is rendered “LORD” (with caps), as evidenced by the Septuagint. Note though, that in the JB and NJB, you will not see the Name Yahweh in the Deuterocanonicals. Why? Because these are extant in Greek, and the Greek texts do not use the Name. Instead, you will see “Lord” (without the caps).

The term “Jehovah” is artificial as stated: scribes used to interperse vowel symbols for “adonai” (Heb. “lord”) into the consonants of the Name (YHVH), as a reminder to those reading not to pronounce the Name, but to say “adonai” instead. Some English translators took it seriously, and, voila! Jehovah. That’s why the RSV dumped it when it revised the ASV.

I’m fine with the Name or LORD. I use both the RSV-CE and the original JB.

The practice of providing a translated or transliterated form of God’s Hebrew, Personal, Proper Name (YHWH) within translations of the Bible (even within the “New Testament”) is actually quite common, that is, within those rendered into languages other than English (and, including some English ones as well).
