Biblical typology is one of the very important aspects of interpreting the Sacred Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments. This is however one of the stumbling blocks for both Jews and Muslims in acknowledging the Lord Jesus Christ as the Messiah–the Saviour of the human race. Since the Sacred Scriptures is the inspired written word of God, one must read it with great care so as not to interpret in in the wrong way, just as so many muslims on this forum already had been doing. There is no other authentic interpreter of the Scritptures except the Catholic Church. All other interpretation not in line with the Catholic Church interpretation has caused confusion and division both among Christians and also among muslims who tried to interpret it in line with what Muhammad is saying.

As the great St. Augustine says–“The New Testament is hidden in the Old Testament, the Old Testament is revealed in the New Testament.”

This was a point I was getting at in another thread. It is exactly this typology, as well as prophecy that substantiates Christ as God.

Any man can do what Muhammad did and claim to be a prophet; no mere man can do what Christ did and fulfill prophecy. Even if Christ consciously tried to fulfill the prophecy, if He were merely a man, he would not have been able to. No man can (the probabilities are impossible to fulfill); only God can.
 
So in other words, Muhammad was not a prophet in his mission.

I dont think any man could achieve what Muhammed did . There are 1.5 Billion Muslims now .

Do you really believe that this can start with one man ?

One man can start all this huge empire and faith and be a Politician and Prophet and statesman and judge and an army General and have the wits to start an empire like this and make people carry his message after him with absoloute conviction?

Do u think this normal man who could achieve all this would die with his armor morgaged for a loan of teh crust of bread for his family ?

I dont think a man like this wanted any Glory on this earth . I dont think he was not sincere when he said he is a prophet of God or else he wouldnt be poor and live simply like others . I dont think even that quarter of the earth would still follow him passionately till this day if he was a fruad .

If there are already 1.5B muslims now, it’s because many countries in the Middle East are hostile to other religions to penetrate. They are persecuted by muslims who ironically call themselves peaceful people. I bet you, if those countries in the Middle East and others muslim dominated countries are open to the Christian religion without resorting to violence, we will see a great harvest for the Kingdom of Christ.

Again, I am not trying to imply a war of numbers. Christianity is not about how many are Christians, but how many are saved by the grace of God and accept the Good News. After all, we are all God’s creatures and we belong to him no matter what country you came from.

Yes he did . But this isnt the point . Miracles doesnt make all prople follow as you think .

The jews worshipped the calve right after Moses split the sea!!!

Thr Quran stated clearly why isnt Miracles are the ultimate important . Because it is instantaneous and people tend to forget them .

There are many many many prophets of God who did miracles and yet God had to destroy their cities because of their non belief.

Brother what makes you think we dont know already about christianity ?

Almost all muslim countries have christians among them for longer times .

I have 10 million christians in my country and nobody can prohibit them from talking to me about christianity !!!

They have been there since longer than Islam have been there , may be you should try to understand that the eastern chrusrch has suffered so much under the western church rule and Coptic christians where happy to have Islam because Muslims didnt treat them as the western church did .

We have hristianity and we know about it and we know what you profess as faith brother. My building have 5 christian families in it . We live happily side by side . Teh church has many many public library where muslims can go and get books and tapes and film about christ and they have a special Huge Hall in our book fair! where every body can go and buy things and watch it or read it .

Its not my fault that no body wants to go there !!!

I have the orthodox bible in arabic and i am reading it at home . What is the problem ?

It is really not true that muslims are deprived from the message of Christ that you profess.

Miracles may not seem important to you, but they do testify to the veracity of the persons performing them. Maybe you feel that way because Mohammed never performed any except for the Qur’an which in my opinion does not qualify because anyone can write a book or have it written for him and claim that it was inspired by God! Besides “private revelations” can be used for fraudulent purposes. So completely accepting a man strictly on his word only seems like sheer folly to me.

That is not the same version that a Coptic lady posted. She talked about many persecutions by Muslims!
 
well talk is cheap . why dont you come here and show me where is teh persecution?!!

You cant even differentiate a muslim from a christian on teh street for Gods sake . We dont live in Ghetoes here . we are all mixed and peacefully live togeather . There are many coptic ministers in the government and many coptic MPs.

Chruches are built every day every where and the government doesnt interfere in any way with Coptic religion.

We have the 7 th of Jan as a national holiday as coptic christiamss.

DO YOU HAVE THAT FOR MUSLIMS IN YOUR COUNTRY ???

I am sick and tired of some never quenshible never satisfied whiners. Bring me proof !!! or come here and i will gladly host you with my coptic neighbors !!!

I have a coptic friend who told me many copts would go to the USA simply by saying they are persecuted . May be its a good way to Go toithe US huh.

He ahd the chance to say that but he told me he couldnt do it because he had morals and he couldnt lie!!!

as for this miracle thing well really i replied to you before and i told you he did many miracles . But i am not going with you ina miracle war !!!

well i guess revelations are revelations and i dont knwo what exactly do u want to have as revelations .

how did jesus have revelations? exactly ?
