The team of two priests and 3 seminarians from the Archdiocese of NY and the dioceses of Brooklyn and Rockville Centre complete their 1400 mile bicycle journey this morning. the purpose of their trip was to promote vocations to the priesthood and religious life. As they bicycled. people all over the country accepted their challenge to pray for vocations for 45 minutes and to exercise for 45 minutes.

I was following the facebook feed/page they had set up. I commend them for making the journey and bringing awareness for vocations.
 
What a fabulous idea, I hope we’ll see the fruits of their labor…

I was at the finish line this morning. They said they had a awesome trip and so many people were praying. They went through 11 states and I think they said 15 dioceses. Each night they gathered with people in the area to pray for vocations.
