We are leaving early Friday morning. The forecast for the weekend is 93-96 degrees and humid. Say some prayers, please, that the weather may not really be that bad.

Planning is probably half the fun, hope you bought some new bike toys.

Looked at some of the photos in first thread, wow that’s a flat trail.

It’s an old rail bed. My side of the state is the hilly part. Closer to St. Louis it is even flatter.

The heat has me worried. I was not planning on 95 and high humidity.

That’s tough weather to exercise in.

Riding along a trial bed is nice though, even where there are hills, it’s kept to a gradual grade. I rode one over Snoqualmie Pass near Seattle (Iron Horse bike trail). One part has a mile long train tunnel, so bike light is a must have.

Just checked, and it’s 2.3 miles long, with no tunnel lights as you hike/bike through it
