I know the birth control issue gets beaten to death on this forum, but I thought this was an interesting discovery anyway. It seems like no matter how smart we think we are, God has a way of putting us in our place.
I know one person doesn’t prove a scientific fact, but this story fits my experience. The pill definitely lowered my libido, which kind of defeats the whole point. To think, how silly I was.
just now learning. This is on the package insert of oral contraceptives. I did pill follow-ups on countless women who reported a decrease in libido. This irritates me (not at you IanS) but the medical professionals who should have been asking about this potential side effect and addressing it.

You aren’t the only one. It does this to other women including me. It was very effective since I wasn’t interested in sex. You are right about how silly it is.
