Since Wednesday is the Feast of the Natvity of Our Lady I got to thinking Is there any Tradition in the Chruch as to the year of her birth? Also off topic how old was she when she was at the time of her Assumption?

The date to honor Mary’s birth was selected to be nine months after the feast of the Immaculate Conception, which was set in Advent to help prepare the way to celebrate Christmas.

The Franciscan Crown rosary has 72 Hail Mary’s, one susposedly for each year of her earthly life.
