Did you all see this heartfelt letter to the SSPX from Monsignor Nicola Bux?

The letter is very beautiful and reasonable. Some of the responses are sad when on stops to think that they are coming from people who claim to be faithful Catholics. In my book, faithful Catholics do not put the sins of others on flags and wave them on the internet. Faithful Catholics do not call other people by names. Faithful Catholics never make such statements as, “We don’t care what the pope has has said. What matters is whether he’s right or wrong.” Who has the authority to decide this?

I guess when I see a defense for fidelity to Catholicism in the same paragraph with an assault on other people, I find it to be an oxymoron.

The letter is reasonable and beautifully written. Some responses leave much to be desired.
