Our priest is also slowly introducing more and more Latin, as well as chants. I love it.

I know that priest and have always admired him for his courage. I have been blessed to serve the altar while he used to celebrate Mass. Does he still use the Chalice veil?

People say that the Church is shrinking. At the parish I attend it is only getting larger (not necessarily indicative of the Church as a whole). This year we had over 6500 persons come to a Christmas Mass. We were well over capacity at each of our masses on Christmas Eve, night and day. Our parish has over 3600 registered families, and that is up from 3200 nine months ago.

All this, and with a pastor who is bringing these bits of 't’radition back! It truly is the time for the New Evangelization and time for us as a people (Church) to be re-catechized!
