Black Catholic Organizations

I somewhat hesitate to ask, but I hope this comes across as sincere.

What are some Black focused Catholic organizations I can learn from? (ie specifically Black issues) Thank you!

I know there are few non-white folks here, but if you could point me to Catholic orgs that focus on Black Catholic issues specifically (they must be out there right?) please and thank you.

I don’t know any (sorry!), but I think that if you want to learn about Black issues from blacks, you would be well-served seeking out a majority-Black parish and speaking with some of parishioners. Specific Catholic organisations pertaining to Black issues I don’t know.

Off the top of head, I’m not aware of any specifically Black Catholic organizations, but I do know that the Society of St. Joseph of the Sacred Heart, the Josephite Order of priests and brothers, are devoted to serving African American communities, and their website might point you in the right direction
