Any of you in the Boston area? I was just alerted to this:
Stop the Blasphemy in Boston
April 27, 2009
I’m asking you to join me in a public act of reparation for the New England premiere of “Jerry Springer: The Opera,” a highly blasphemous theater play.
Please meet me at the Calderwood Pavillion (Boston Center for the Arts) in Boston, Massachusetts, on Friday, May 1 at 6:00 PM — to protest the horrific insults to God and His Mother in “Jerry Springer: The Opera.”
According to press reports:
The crucifixion is mocked and the Eucharist is trashed.
There is a lady singing “Jerry eleison” (mocking the Mass: Kyrie Eleison).
Jesus is introduced as “the hypocrite son of the fascist tyrant on high” plus he wears a diaper, is fat and effeminate. And Jesus admits, “Actually, I am a bit gay.”
Eve touches Jesus indecently (too horrible to describe) and they say Our Blessed Mother was “raped by an angel.”
God is a fat man in a white suit who complains about being blamed for everyone’s problems. Then he invites Jerry Springer to join Him to “sit in Heaven beside me, hold my hand and guide me.” At the end Jerry emerges as the true savior of mankind.
K. , will Catholics remain silent before these horrific blasphemies?
I think this show may provoke God’s just anger. That’s why I urge you to join me at:
The Boston Center for the Arts (Calderwood Pavilion)
539 Tremont Street
Boston, Massachusetts
Friday, May 1, 2009
6:30—8:30 PM (please arrive at 6:00PM)
I look forward to seeing you and I promise the event will deeply mark your life!

PS — We’ve been complacent far too long! It’s time to PRAY and ACT! So please join me at our prayer vigil in Boston on May 1 in reparation for the horrendous blasphemies hurled against Our Lord Jesus Christ and the Blessed Mother by Jerry Springer: The Opera.
