Blessed Sacramental by Benedictine Monk

Two weeks after my conversion (January of the current year) I bought a little crucifix with a Saint Benedict Medal.
The crucifix came with a little pamphlet with the traditional prayer and the instructon that it should be blessed by a benedictine monk to become a sacramental.
My question is: It’s necessarily that the priest is a benedictine monk or any other priest could do it as well?
I confess it doesn’t make any sense to me as the Sacrament of the Holy Order is the same for any priest, but I’m new in Faith so I may be wrong.

It’s a sacramental even if it’s unblessed.

It’s design and use makes it a sacramental. But no harm in a blessing.
