Blessing a cross that is to be worn around the neck?

I was curious as to whether I could obtain a blessing for a cross I just bought that I intend to be worn around my neck. I’m not sure if priests just “do” that sort of thing, or whether the object needs to be something like a rosary (in that I would intend to pray with).

I think a Priest can bless anything. if it is important to you, go for it.

I just had 2 Mary medals, 2 crucifi, a St. Jude medal, and a St. Michael medal blessed. Maybe tomorrow I’ll get this keyboard blessed, test my theory…
 
I sport a crucifix blessed by Papa Benedict XVI. There’s nothing wrong here…and a lot of things right. 🙂
