This prayer puts a positive slant on our enemies and gives some reasons why God doesn’t remove them from our lives. It speaks to me about my own situation and how my enemies have made me entrust my life to Christ and so achieve a surer foundation than if I had been left untroubled.

Sometimes we seek our own penances when our “cruel friends” provide all we need. Is this a good interpretation? I am now trying to reach out to my enemies a bit and bless them and be nice to them rather than just ‘survive’ them.
Just thought I would share this and ask if anyone else has had any positive enemy experiences?
