Bold Evangelization

In one of my pastor’s homilies (rc.net/lansing/ctk/homilies/homily9-8-02.htm) he said that evangelizing strangers, i.e. cashiers, people at the gas pump, etc, is as simple as saying “Jesus loves you.” He said those simple words could put a person on the path to salvation!

Imagine if every Catholic were to be so bold as to daily tell strangers the gospel message!

My question is: How can the Church promote bold evangelization?

Hi Nate, Imagine if we were all obedient to Gods command and went and preached the gospel. What an impact we would have in this world. Pray for boldness and obedience. :eek: God Bless
 
Imagine if we were all obedient to God’s commands and went around LIVING the Gospel, now that would be evangelization.

One of my ways that I evangelize for Christ is when I find a mistake on a receipt from the store, I go back and correct it.

Last time I did it, it cost me $3. The biggest it has cost is $29. The smallest was $0.40 (I think).

When I do this, usually to the amazement of the store personel, I always say something like, “Well, when I stand before God I want to stand there clean.” or " Well, I would hate to go to hell over stealing $1."

Just one of my ways of living my life and preaching the Gospel!
