Book addressing claims of Pagan copycat

As of late I’ve heard the objection that Christianity is a rip off of Sumerian pagan cults (and many other pagan beliefs too).

I had heard a discussion where a scholar (can’t remember who) was saying that most of this Pagan copy theory came from German historian that were trying to give a non-Jewish linkage for Christianity. That they weren’t trying to do it because they wanted to undermine Christianity but that they wanted to wipeout any Semitic claims for Christianity’s origin.

Is there truth to this?

Are there books by reputable writers on the topic showing that these claims of pagan copying are false?

or a blog that addresses it?
