Hi,
I’m putting together a parish Lady’s Book Club and our first book will be de-coding Da Vinci, by Amy Welborn. Having never participated in a book club I’m not certain of the format to take. Any thoughts on how to proceed? I’d like us to discuss it on sufficient detail that we can defend the Church from attacks coming out of the Da Vinci code. I’ve selected this particular book because it’s small and will not be seen as a daunting task by anyone considering the time required.
I was thinking we’d meet weekly for approximately 3 weeks and discuss a few chapters at a time. Should I expect to “lead” the discussions, or simply allow them to take their own natural course?
Thanks for your suggestions,
CARose
