Anyone have any good books that cover the 7 Sacraments? I have Scott Hahn’s, and was looking for some more.

Have you read the section in the Catechism on Sacraments?

Yes, that was going to be one of my resources. I am going to be teaching a class about the seven sacraments and was looking for some more resources.

I like Catholic for a Reason edited by Scott Hahn. I’m not sure if this is the one you have read. The book explains the sacraments as well as other topics like Mary, purgatory, justification etc. Each chapter is written by a different author including Kimberly Hahn, Tim Gray, Jeff Cavins, and Curtis Martin.

If interested in the background behind the Sacraments try "Faith of Our Fathers" by Cardinal Gibbons.

Tim Gray has a great book on the Sacraments, explaining them from scripture.

Sacraments in Scripture: Salvation History Made Present

Sacraments Revisited by Father Liam Kelly is a good one.

We used it in our Ecclesial Lay Ministry class and found it very useful, especially if you are interested in the history and development of the Sacraments.
