Hi. I’m looking for book recommendations that go into detail about all of the places Christ visited during his ministry, including archaeological or historical information about the places themselves (e.g., what were they like when He was there and how have they been preserved, if at all). Obviously, the former comes from the Gospels, but I’m looking for books that expand on that.

Thank you.
Norm.

That would be an interesting book!

I think Steve Ray’s documentary series “Footprints of God” may be of interest to you.

Marking this topic. I’m interested myself. Too bad the most important places imo are in zones/countries hard to be visited.

There’s no difficulty visiting Israel. Bethlehem is in the Palestinian Territories, but all the other main places are in Israel itself: Jerusalem, Nazareth, and the sites on the shore of the Sea of Galilee such as Capernaum and Magdala. Israel is a very small country and it’s easy and quick to get around. Distances are very short.

Are non-Palestinians allowed to visit Bethlehem? The Church of the Nativity is there.

Many places that attract me and that are part of major events in Our Lord”s life on earth are in unstable countries around Israel

Added it to my wish list on Amazon, and it immediately suggested several more books like it.

Thanks for the recommendation.
