Does anyone know of a really excellent book, something different than the Catechism, which explains the Eucharist real well, particularly it’s relationship to the history of redemption and the passover?

You can find a great chapter on the Eucharist in a book called Theology For Beginners by F.J. Sheed. Its not a hard read and its easier to understand than other sources.

I do not remember if this book will meet your specific needs.:o

However, there will be something in this book which will increase your love for the Eucharist.👍
