Hey all,
I have been so filled with the Holy Spirit these last few months and have been reading almost anything I can get my hands on!
Can someone give me some Catholic book recommendations- so I can read even more! 🙂

Thanks!!

Kristan, here’s a few for you:

I Believe in Love (one of the best books about St. Therese of Lisieux, imop)
ROSARY, by Kevin Orlin Johnson
Transformation in Christ, by Dietrich von Hildebrand

of Eucharistic Devotion
by Father Benedict J. Groeschel, C.F.R., and James Monti.

This is the link to the Catechism of the Catholic Church

Thanks guys~!!!

Kinda interesting you mention St. Therese of Lisieux, she has always been one of my favorite Saints.

Thanks for the recom. on a book by Pope Benedict, I’ve been looking forward to reading his books!

Try My Life with the Saints by Father James Martin, S.J.

Kristan, here’s a few for you:

I Believe in Love (one of the best books about St. Therese of Lisieux, imop)
The best book about St Therese of Lisieux is Story of a Soul, her autobiography.

He Leadeth Me, by Father Walter Ciszek. I’ve read this one at least three times, and some chapters more times than that.

This Tremendous Lover, by Dom Eugene Boylan

Those are the two books on my nightstand right now.

Any books by Bishop Fulton Sheen, Eugene Kennedy, Peter Kreeft, and Father Benedict Groeschel.

For Thèrése Of Lisieux, read this selection from Fr. Robert Barron’s The Priority of Christ --how he sees Therese as an example of “elevated Prudence.”

You can find it here:

For other book recommendations, see the “Categories” Book Recommendations. They all feature reading selections so can be quite lengthy but there are 15 books there for you to become acquainted with.
