Booked a house viewing on a sunday, a sin?

Hi i’m a university student and we have to look for housing off campus for the next academic year ( here in the UK) and i called a landlord and she offered a viewing on a house on sunday and i agreed. But now i’ve been thinking about it and looking through posts here and realised that it is a form of buisness and i shouldn’t do it on a sunday.

I feel ABSOULUTLY HORRIBLE as i have not only booked it and can’t get back in touch with the landlord to move it to monday but i went to a view a house last sunday ( which i think was a last minute thing after i went to mass; one of my friends said there was a house near by and i was the only one well enough to view it so i did) and on that sunday i took communion ( before i went but i don’t remeber if i planned to go or i only knew after i left mass - my memory is not clear here).

I have sinned? Should i go to confession first thing tomorrow because as of right now i plan to? what do i do if i can’t get in touch with the lanlord in time?

I’ve created a mess haven’t i?

If I think I have committed sin I go to confession and ask the priest if it is.

The priest would be the best person to ask.

But, since this is a forum…go to Mass on Sunday, and do this afterwards.

As a disclaimer, I will openly state that I have been wrong before and will undoubtedly be wrong again many times over. With that, feel free to correct me.

However, keeping the Sabbath a Holy day does not necessarily mean you do nothing else but attend Mass on that day. I don’t see how viewing a house needs to conflict with keeping the day holy. Attend Mass. Remain prayerful, even when viewing the home. I personally don’t believe there is any sin involved here.
