Who among us has read A Severe Mercy by Sheldon Van Auken? I lost my copy and ordered 2 more on Amazon (used) for $3+ ea. I want to re-read (1st read 20+ yrs ago) and share w/ others. Box of tissue must accompany ea. read.

I read “A Severe Mercy” many many years ago. The relationship this couple had was moving…and the portrayal of CS Lewis made him very human.
