Hi everyone, I’m looking for some good books about Mary for gifts on Mother’s Day. Any recommendations? I need one for my mom and one for my mother-in-law. I looked over the selection in the EWTN catalog and it’s hard to choose, not being able to look through them. Any books about Mary that have touched your life, I’d love to hear about them. Thanks!

Scott Hahn’s “Hail Holy Queen” is good, explains why we believe what we believe.

If either one is a scholar, a copy of “All Generations Shall Call Me Blessed” by Manelli is fantastic!

For more of a devotional book - well, others could most likely give better advice there.

How about The Life of Mary as Seen by the Mystics, Compiled by Raphael Brown. I just bought it, so I can’t give a review. The intro gives a very good explanation of private revelation, but that’s as far as I’ve gotten. It comes highly recommended by a friend of mine.

Thanks, everyone. I selected some good books, with your help.
