I am looking for thought provoking books on cd; I am aware of Peter Kreeft’s *What Would Socrates Do *but any others to recommend? Kreeft has some of his lectures on line for down loading but can they be copied to cd? I am techno challenged.

It all depends what file format the book is in. If it is a Windows Media File or a Wave file it will have to be saved as an mp3 file in order to be copied on to a CD. Real Player or Windows Media can do that for you. Also depending on the size of the book, it may take alot of CD’s.

If the book is another file format, you may have to buy a converting program.

Great series! (so far). I got a copy of the lectures for Christmas and am a little over halfway through. I got intrigued by his mp3’s I took off the internet.

On thing you might consider is getting a cd player that will play MP3’s. Portable players have really come down in price and many of the newer CD players will play them. Even newer DVD players will play them, so if you have a DVD player, you might check it out.

If you can get a player that plays MP3’s, then all you need to do is download the files off the internet in a folder on your harddrive (like “My music” and then copy them as files to a CD. You will find all of Kreeft’s stuff fits on 2 CD’s
