Any recommendations for books on the early church, like the apostles generation and then the one after that so early establishments of how the church came about. Also any recommendations of the climate of the Roman empire and Judea when Jesus was born (so the history coming up to the birth of Jesus), thanks for the recommendations.

Note – as you click each section on the left – some sections have more sections
Code:
THE ORIGINS OF CHRISTIANITY

     FIRST EXPANSION

THE PAGAN EMPIRE AND CHRISTIANITY: THE PERSECUTIONS

THE CHURCH IN THE ROMAN CHRISTIAN EMPIRE
–Then it gives the first section

THE ORIGINS OF CHRISTIANITY

What is meant by christianity?
Get to Know Jesus Christ
The Birth of the Church

(then when finished with reading all under the THE ORIGINS OF CHRISTIANITY —go back an click FIRST EXPANSION and read what is under it …and so forth)

Then back to the left side when all is done…and chose the next section on left

Such will give you a nice overview
