Born Again?

The correct respons from us Catholics (I just did my Rite of Acceptance a few weeks ago - will Swim at Easter) when we are asked if we are “born again” would similar to the question, are you saved? We were saved (at Baptism), we are being saved (through the Holy Spirit) and one day hope to achieve eternal salvation in Heaven with our Lord.

Baptist are born again when we are baptized into Jesus Christ, But you must understand that this is not water baptiism,

Baptism as he states above is just a symbolic act that represents the acceptance of Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior and the person now lives a new life guided by the Holy Spirit given to those who profess the Lordship of Jesus.
That’s beautiful, however, the Church acknowledges that God’s Grace extends even to those who cannot make the profession themselves, but, being physically and spiritually born into the sin of Adam, are snatched from the jaws of spiritual death by the Grace extended to us at Baptism not only as consenting adults, but also by those who make the confession for the infant that they will be “born again” into life guided by the Holy Spirit through the Church, which is Christ’s body.
Just my pennies worth…now that I’ve repeated what some have written.
