i heard about this one time in a reading that every knee should bend and every head bow (i’m paraphrasing) at the Name of God.
Never heard other mention of it by parents or at CCD. Never saw anyone else do it. Then i started to go to the Latin Mass and have noticed a few people doing it.
Also, i’ve never heard the tipping of cap when passing a Church.
But i like both of these little disciplines. They serve as great reminders. Any small sign to help keep the focus on God throughout our daily lives is of general benefit to us.
