Boy saints' name suggestions

Everybody has given such great replies, I’m tempted to leave this longer to see what ahem interesting, names you all can come up with!

We have come to a tentative agreement, let me know what you think-

Sebastian Michael and Gabriel Joseph

I’m a little disappointed it doesn’t line up with that M&M suggestion…

Those sound like great names, but your husband, being a twin himself, is expert enough!

GREAT CHOICES! 👍 I love the name “Sebastian” for a boy… distinctively unusual, and gender-specific.

Personally, I like Sebastian and Aloysius as positively masculine boy’s names. That’s what I wanted to name our first son, but wifey wouldn’t have any part of it. So, Timothy Raymond became his moniker. (“Raymond” is a traditional name in our family.)

Then, when son #2 arrived, again, I voted for my preferred choices, but this time my entire family shot my choices down. Thus, “Kevin Sean” was written on his Birth & Baptismal certificates.

Give little Sebastian a soft, welcoming kiss and a pat on his head from the old Ponyguy, will you? ❤️

No one can compete with M&M! But I think those names are so beautiful! Double names are the bestr.

There’s always James Patrick and Sean Mark…The Sean is of course a modernisation of St. Senan. I just always thought those names suited brothers well. But your choice so far is absolutely beautiful, especially Sebastian Michael!

I was under the impression that Sean is the Scottish spelling of John
 
It is, although I think it might be Shaun as well…I get confused about those things. Thanks for spotting it! But I know a few Seans that have been based on Senan, all Catholics.

There’s plenty of good St Johns out there though! 🙂
 
Come on, let’s make this more interesting shall we? 😉

How about Giuseppe Moscati [last name] for a boy, and while we are at it, Gianna Molla [last name] for a girl? Italian physician-saints

(And yes, when I name my children, the names will be kept in the Italian out of respect for the sacrifices that both of these doctor-saints made, albeit I am not even of European descent.)

Ignatius (or Ignacio in Spanish–another of my son’s ideas!)
 
I LOVE the names Sebastian and Gabriel.
I would use Gabriel, but my number one choice for a boys name is Abram, which would probably get Abe. I don’t want an Abe and Gabe. However, seeing as how DH wants nothing to do with an Abe, maybe Gabriel will be used eventually!
