No he is not catholic.
But I feel that God is using me to help Justin through this situation I have talked with him about going to a counselor before and at first he was against talking with them about what he is going through but I explained that I and other friends have gone through consoling and I myself still am to help me through things that I am going through.
He has asked me if god wants him to be with me and he also wants to someday marry me (I didn’t encourage this) I know that he has had sex in past relationships and I have encouraged him to get help from counselors about this and help with getting past his parents deaths and he seemed receptive to the advice I gave him. He also said he wants to know more about our Faith and I ask him if he has any questions about it he tells me that he can’t think of any if I give possible suggestions on where we start i ask him what he wants to learn more about like why the church doesn’t allow visitors who aren’t catholic to receive the Eucharist and the blood he shoots me down, so I’m confused because I feenl like he wants to learn about our Faith and then the next thing I know he doesn’t seem all that interested. Is this normal for someone who wants to learn more,if not what did I do or not do right? Advice would be welcome.

All you can do is proclaim the message. We’re commanded to share the Gospel-- not to try to gain converts. If you try to save people, it will only lead to despair because you don’t have the authority, nor the power to save someone. Leave it up to God to work in your boyfriend’s heart. Pray for him and be happy.
