Whenever I meditate, the sides of my brain seem to press against my skull, so that I can feel them. Or, it seems as if the sides of my brain are tingling, energized, electrified. It is hard to describe. Has this ever happened to anyone?

I’ve heard of something similar with Buddhist monks. Their brain activity was monitered while they meditated and they found that parts of their brain were active during the meditation that would’ve otherwise been dormant.

I dunno. Just something that came to mind.

I have heard…

When you pray the rosary… the brain ‘fires’ up because you are using both sides of your brain… it makes your brain more engaged.

Something like that.
