**Brasilia, Brazil (LifeNews.com) – **The Brazilian government is backing down on its position in favor of legislation that would legalize abortion in the South American nation. The government sent a bill to Congress in September to legalize abortion and the bill is still expected to be debated for months in the lower house.

However, the government is now acknowledging that its chance of passing is slim.

This is really important. Brazil has the highest number of Catholics than any other country in the world! If abortion is legalized there, it does not bode well for the rest of us in our fights. I pray that this legislation is defeated! :gopray:

Anything that the U.N. sees as promoting Catholic Culture and moral values they just want to destroy due to their virolent hatred towards Mother Church. Many of these people are ex-catholics and do this and they feel no shame in doing so. Catholics are a major player in the U.N.
