Posted in family life and realized it’s more appropriate here…

This is sponsored by several churches in Washington state… a huge playland to attract families with young kids to their church!

They host parties and such, plus it looks like they have ‘open’ time where anyone can play. Of course, they advertise their church service times and promote their VBS.

I can’t imagine what it cost to build and maintain, but I can not get over how utterly brilliant this is! 👍
 
That is certainly innovative. I have never seen such a thing! Cool! I would love to see a big Catholic play land in my town albeit my kids are grown. I am with you that it has to be expensive to maintain, build, and insure. However, it can be done it seems.
 
In addition to promoting your worship services and VBS, can’t you just picture the moms who attend those churches… they bring their kids to the playland, introduce themselves to strangers and evangelize them. 👍 Absolutely inspired!!
