Bringing Rosary in pocket?

Can a Catholic keep a rosary in his pocket throughout the day? To remind him of the Lord and encourage him to remember not to sin?
 
Sure…of course, then when you have nothing to do, are bored, or stuck in traffic… you can pull it out and go thru a few mysteries.
 
Of course! And like the PP mentioned, they can use it here and there and pray the rosary throughout the day as well! 🙂
 
Yes, in fact I think it ought to be encouraged. It is a wonderful idea, always be prepared to pray.

Of course. I carry one everywhere I go. More recently I have been carrying a thumb rosary.

I carry my rosary in a little pouch. But I often decide to go walking on a hiking trail or some other activity where I normally pray the rosary. Also, I have seen some people claim there exist partial indulgences for simply carrying it with you as a reminder as you described, though I don’t really know if that is the case with any certainty.

As far as I know, the only cautions regarding carrying it is wearing it openly like jewelry (fashion). That doesn’t seem to be an issue in America, though.
 
As a KofC we are required to carry Our Lady’s Rosary with us everyday.
Becomes second nature after a few weeks. 👍
 
I can’t speak about pockets, but I have a travel (one decade) rosary that stays in my purse at all times. I’ve been known to take it out and say a decade if I’m stressed – usually on a plane at take off 😃 or if I get to church early or… I see nothing wrong with carrying a rosary with you in some way – pocket or purse.
 
If I do NOT have my Rosary on me out the door to school, I feel as if I was either missing my arm, or missing a piece of my clothing. I love having the Weapon of Our lady on me. Its like carrying a satan killing .357 on you. So reassuring, especially when I get time to squeeze a decade or two in during the day!!
 
You know that little pocket inside your pocket? Yeah. I don’t use mine for coins or pocketwatches or whatever they’re meant for. That’s my Rosary pocket. I keep a one-decade Rosary ring in it all day so it’s always with me
