British activists deported after protesting at Olympics in China

Well, they held their Free Tibet signs because of the atrocities going on there, and they were deported. What do you think?

We knew this was going to happen. They went anyway and said what they had to say. That was the right thing to do. It was brave. We knew perfectly well pretending China is a friend of democracies when it isn’t could get us hurt.
China is going to care about human rights when it has to. It doesn’t have to as long as the world curries favor with it either way.
