The Sedevacantist, Bro. Michael Diamond will be on the Art Bell Show tonight at 1 AM Eastern Time. That’s about forty five minutes from when this message was posted. It should be interesting…

Well, it’s 1:20 and he isn’t on the show yet. I guess that they are going to have him on later. Hopefully, it won’t be too late, like after 3 AM.

Yes, I’m listening now. He’s purveying some real tin hat ideas, imho. Last time he was on, some fundamentalist protestant called in and they had a rather amusing argument. Maybe this guy will call in again.

Hope they didn’t discuss space aliens. 🙂

Though I remember Art did have Malachy Martin on his show once. Good talk. Wonder if it’s on YouTube yet.

Is it true that Art Bell is known for having a hatred for Christianity?

I didn’t think much of the 20 minutes I heard before I “thankfully” fell asleep. I guess I don’t have much interest in hearing about how the Catholic Church is ordaining men who are not really priests…and you get the idea.

I heard Art say…that he wasn’t Catholic*…“yet”…*whatever that means. It may mean that he is converting because he married a girl from the Phillippines and maybe she is a Catholic.

:heart:Blyss

I’ve listened to Bell for many years found him to be very respectful of Christianity generally and Catholicism in particular; espcially Catholic tradition. And he’s generally quite a thoughtful inquirer. Unlike other entertainment programs featuring Catholicism as as topic, I’ve never heard a word of ridicule from him. But he’s also had rabid anti-Catholics like Hal Lindsey on. Of course, you have to recognize the whole basis of his program is to present the unusual; UFOs, Bigfoot, ghosts, Knights Templar stuff, etc. Bell’s topics are weird, but he a pretty smart and entertaining guy; niether adversarial or patronizing.

OTOH, his weeknight counterpart, George Noory, is an ex -Catholic New Ager who regularly has *real *goofballs and conspiracy nuts on.

“Bother Michael” is an evil person. In the middle of the night he threw out the priest who was saying Mass for our Latin mass community that used to be called “Most Holy Family Monastery” which is now Mater Ecclesiae.

The priest refused to preach Brother Michael’s doctrines from the pulpit from what I understand.

Brother Michael then abandoned the property, leaving us all without the TLM. On a good note it is a good thing he left and took his garbage elsewhere. “Bro. Michael” must be exposed for the evil callous person he really is.

Art Bell would most likely be put in the Universalist Church if he was forced to pick one. His first wife practiced wicka. The prior religious topics for the show have all been treated with equal validity. Remember this is radio and he needs guests. Who would go on the show in the middle of the night to be treated badly?🙂

lol i heard that before when Dimond was on last time! the fundementalist said:

“Who are you to say that the catholic church is the only way! I am the one who is to recieve the new revelation, not you! God gave moses the 10 commandments and now he has given me 10 new commandments!”

Bro Dimond:"…Am i talking to a real person here…?"

Fundementalist: “Sir are you a homosexual”

Bro. Dimond: “No Way!”

Fundementalist: “You’re a moron!”

Bro. Dimond: “You’re a moron!”

it was pretty funny.

I watched this one, and it was very interesting but not nearly as funny as the original one.

I must say, dimond’s arguments are rather convincing and cannot be dismissed so easily.

This was printed a traditional bulletin last Sunday.
A brief and INFALLIBLE Catholic answer - to the hallucinations of the sedevacantists
(from the First Dogmatic Constitution on the Church of Christ, First Vatican Council, July 18, 1870)
Chapter 2: The Perpetuity of the Primacy of Blessed Peter in the Roman Pontiffs
Moreover, what the Chief of Pastors and the Great Pastor of sheep, our Lord Jesus, established in the blessed Apostle Peter for the perpetual salvation and permanent benefit of the Church, this – by the same Authority – must necessarily remain forever in the Church which was founded upon a rock and will stand firm until the end of time. Surely “no one has a doubt, rather all ages have known that the holy and most blessed Peter, chief and head of all the Apostles, and pillar of faith and foundation of the Catholic Church, received the Keys of the Kingdom from our Lord Jesus Christ, the Savior and Redeemer of the human race; and he up to this time and always lives and presides and exercises judgment in his successors, the bishops of the Holy See of Rome, which was founded by him and consecrated with his blood” [cf. Council of Ephesus]. Therefore, whoever succeeds Peter in this chair, according to the institution of Christ Himself, holds the primacy of Peter over the whole Church. “Therefore the disposition of truth remains, and blessed Peter perseveres in the rock-like strength he was granted and does not abandon the guidance of the Church which he has received.” (St Leo the Great). For this reason “it has always been necessary, because of mightier pre-eminence, for every church - that is those who are the faithful everywhere - to come to the Church of Rome,” (St Irenaeus) so that in this See, from which the laws of “venerable communion” (St Ambrose) flow out to all, they as members associated in one head, will grow together into the structure of a single body.
[Canon] Therefore, if anyone says that it is not by the institution of Christ the Lord Himself (that is to say, by Divine Law) that blessed Peter should have perpetual successors in the primacy over the whole church; or that the Roman pontiff is not the successor of blessed Peter in this primacy: let him be anathema.
A few comments about attacks on our Faith from Pope St. Pius XWhat truly is the point of departure of the enemies of religion for the sowing of the great and serious errors by which the faith of so many is shaken? They begin by denying that man has fallen by sin and been cast down from his former position. Hence they regard as mere fables original sin and the evils that were its consequence. Humanity vitiated in its source vitiated in its turn the whole race of man; and thus was evil introduced amongst men and the necessity for a Redeemer involved. All this rejected it is easy to understand that no place is left for Christ, for the Church, for grace or for anything that is above and beyond nature; in one word the whole edifice of faith is shaken from top to bottom. But let people believe and confess that the Virgin Mary has been from the first moment of her conception preserved from all stain; and it is straightway necessary that they should admit both original sin and the rehabilitation of the human race by Jesus Christ, the Gospel, and the Church and the law of suffering. …And thus once again is justified what the Church attributes to this august Virgin - that she has exterminated all heresies in the world.
(AVE MARIA!)
(from AD DIEM ILLUM LAETISSIMUM (On the Immaculate Conception); paragraph 22; Pope St. Pius X; February 2, 1904.)

What about anti-Popes? I don’t mean to belittle your answer and the excerpt from the First Vatican Council, I ask this as an honest inquiry.

The Chief See is judged by no one. Pope St. Damasus I

Our judgment is not to be reviewed, for it has never been permitted to go over anything once it has been decided by the Apostolic See. Pope St. Boniface I

I did hear Art Bell say one time that either he was about to start RCIA or that he was in RCIA. I forget which.

When I was listening, Bro. Dimond got into a discussion with a caller about why the Mass “must be in Latin”. The caller thought that it was sensible to have the Mass in the vernacular. I wish that this caller had also known enough to point out that when Latin was introduced as the main language for the Mass, it was the vernacular language.
