husband was hurt on the job 3 1/2 years ago, changed career fields and now has been short of work for 6 months, tried everything, put out a hundred application/resumes…now we are thousands in debt and on the verge of being in the street. talked to my sister about the troubles and she said she would let my mother know so mom could call me to cheer me up(we have no long distance)…but when she told her, mom said she did not want to talk to me! (I think she thinks I would ask her for money–which I have not done in the past and I know she does not have—so I would not do that! I just wanted to hear her voice!) How many more times will I expect my mother to act like a mother only for her to break my heart again? It has been this way since I was a a baby.
missed Mass today because husband and I were arguing about this situation. He said some terrible things to me. tomorrow is the day the attorney lets us know about a loan on the settlement or not. I feel like it is doomsday. we need a big miracle. or I will have to go to a shelter–no where else to go. he can sleep on his parents couch, am disabled and cannot be accommodated. (Church helped us last month and said they can’t help us anymore.)

I pray that you will not be abandoned to the streets. Our Lord Jesus, will send someone to lift you out of this misery. Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, please accept this request.

update:

my husband got his own site at his job so now he will get a full 40 hours a week. It is not more money but it is a full paycheck. And the attorney is trying to get us an advance on the settlement, he said he can get us $2000 tomorrow which will keep the utilities on and go toward getting the car fixed.
please accept my thanks for your prayers and keep them coming. we are not anywhere near out of the hole yet but atleast we can see the light of day!

It reminds me of the story of Jesus in the storm with the apostles.
He just walks out and stops it right when things look so impossible.
