Parents of young kids, they just added a Brother Francis Stations of the Cross streaming on Formed. I wish I had noticed sooner during lent. Maybe they just added it for Holy Week.

It’s watchable and not as cheesey as a normal episode of Brother Francis. Don’t get me wrong, we like his cheese, but it was rightly toned down for reverence.

Do you have any family traditions for Stations of the Cross with young kids?

We have some stations we hang around the house during Lent to pray a modified way of the cross on Fridays. Electric candles from the Dollar Tree seem to occupy the littlest enough for us to last through the prayers.

I’ve heard of families that invite people over to their house for stations and do a soup supper after. I was briefly interested in that until I remembered the goal is to eventually get back to stations at church when our crew is more manageable. I really miss attending Stations.

Oh yay! It must be new. I was looking for Lent items about a month ago and didn’t see it. It looks like I’m going to miss Stations on Friday so this will be great after the kids get home from school!
