Hi brothers and sisters in Christ,

My brother is about to be put out on the street with his girlfriend and her family. Terrible as the prospect of homelessness is, this could be God’s way of beginning to set things straight and get my brother on the right track, along with her and her family. He is a baptized Catholic but has been living in a disorderly situation that he never should have been in. They need much prayer. Help is more readily available for her and her kids, so my brother realizes at this point that, at least in this regard, they are better off separating. He may be able to get into a wonderful Catholic program called “Blanchet House” that specializes in helping the homeless and addicts. He also has a broken leg which is healing. Please pray for my brother, the lady and her kids. Pray that God may not allow them to become homeless. Pray that their lives get on the right track in a good and productive direction, that they do what they ought to do, and above all that they draw nearer to God.

Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular desales09’s brother, and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity.
